Seamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta

Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta are an award-winning brother and sister duo from An Áird Mhóir in the Connemara Gaeltacht, Co. Galway, celebrated for their beautiful sean-nós singing, close sibling harmonies and distinctive arrangements of songs in both Irish and English.

Immersed in the music, language and traditions of Connemara from an early age, both are accomplished multi-instrumentalists and Irish dancers. Their haunting performance of the traditional lament Anach Cuain in 2022 captured audiences far beyond Ireland and went viral around the world.

In 2023, they released their debut EP, Séamus & Caoimhe, produced by Brian Whelan and acclaimed Riverdance composer Bill Whelan. They were named Best Emerging Artists at the 2024 RTÉ Folk Awards and, in 2026, received one of Irish traditional music’s most prestigious honours when they were named TG4 Young Musicians of the Year.
