About the Event...
Our annual festival was established in 2016 to celebrate Ireland's first Dark Sky Park. It is held in the towns and villages surrounding Mayo Dark Sky Park - Newport, Mulranny and Ballycroy.
The 3 day event includes formal talks on themes of astronomy, biodiversity and culture, as well as a planetarium, seashore safari, art exhibitions and musical performances

Early Bird
This ticket will give you entry to all formal talks in Newport and Mulranny on Sat 1 Nov and Sun 2 Nov 2025. As a bonus, your ticket(s) will also give you FREE ENTRY to the Festival Finale event in St. Patrick’s Church Newport on Sunday evening, which is free for all festival ticket holders. Please note it will NOT gain you entry to the Festival Opening in Ballycroy on Fri 31 Oct, or the Gala Dinner in Mulranny Park Hotel on Sat 1 Nov - these events must be booked separately.
