Festival Stargazing: Weather Update – SATURDAY

Stargazing tonight: the forecast is looking promising!

After last night’s poor weather prevented stargazing, we’re delighted that the forecast for tonight, Saturday 31 October, is looking much more promising, with clear skies currently forecast for 8–9pm in Newport.

We’re hopeful for our stargazing session at Burrishoole Abbey from 8–9pm, and a chance to enjoy the wonders of the night sky together.

Please wrap up warmly, with temperatures expected to drop to around 7–8°C.

As always, stargazing is weather dependent. We’ll be monitoring conditions and sharing any further updates on social media and by email to subscribers. Please check for updates before setting off, particularly if you’re travelling specifically for stargazing.

Fingers crossed for a star-filled evening!
