About Fergus Sweeney

Fergus Sweeney is a Tourism Officer at SOLAS Visitor Centre and Blacksod Lighthouse in Erris, County Mayo. With more than 20 years’ experience in photography, filmmaking and media production, he is passionate about preserving and sharing the history, maritime heritage and stories of his native Erris.

His work brings together tourism, education, creativity and community, helping visitors connect with the people, culture and remarkable coastal landscape of the Mullet Peninsula.
