About Michael Chambers
Michael Chambers is Head Guide at the Wild Nephin National Park. In Michael’s role as Head Guide he delivers ecology education programs and guided walks in the National Park.
Michael is passionate about local history and has a strong knowledge of the Nephin Beg Mountains, having lived in the valley of Shramore that is nestled in the heart of the Nephin Begs. It was within these mountains while herding sheep with his father Neil that Michael was exposed to the rich local history of the area.
Over the years Michael has explored the landscape and has made a number of very important discoveries, bringing to life the old stories told to him in his youth.
